CELPIP (General)
CANADIAN ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY INDEX PROGRAM
CELPIP is an English language proficiency evaluating tool to judge the test-takers efficiency in four components: listening, reading, writing and speaking. It provides a valid and reliable measurement of test takers English abilities in a variety of everyday situations, such as communicating with co-workers and superiors in the workplace, understanding newscasts and interpreting and responding to written materials.
KEY FEATURES:-
COMPUTER DELIVERED TEST:-
CELPIP is a computer based test and is conducted in one 3 hours sitting. Since it is done on the computer, it is easy to keep a track of how much time is left for each of the tasks. CELPIP is a quick reliable testing experience.
SCORES:-
Performance in each CELPIP component is determined with CELPIP level ranging from 1 to 12. No parameter is fixed to judge a pass or fail. A Score of 1 to 12 for each section is calculated against the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) levels.

INSTRUCTIONS ON TEST DAY:-
- Carry photo identification and test admission ticket.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in the test center.
- Paper and electronic dictionaries are not permitted.
- Test takers will not be able to stop their timers even if they require any break.
